Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
  2. Remove the radio or the instrument panel storage compartment. Refer to Radio Replacement in Entertainment, or Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel and Gauges.

    3. Object Number: 296916 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the remote keyless entry receiver electrical connector.
  4. Remove the bolts retaining the control module to the carrier.
  5. Remove the module from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 296916 Size: SH
  1. Install the keyless entry control module to the vehicle.
  2. Install the bolts retaining the control module to the carrier.
  3. Connect the remote keyless entry receiver electrical connector.
  4. Install the radio, or the instrument panel storage compartment to the vehicle. Refer to Radio Replacement in Entertainment, or Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel and Gauges.
  5. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
  6. Reprogram the transmitter. Refer to Transmitter Programming .
  7. Verify that the system operates properly.
