Rear Seat Cushion Frame Replacement YC7

1. Remove the seat cushion trim cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .

Important: Note the position and length of the bolts removed. This will assist with reassembly.

2. Remove the bolts retaining the hinges to the seat cushion frame.

3. Remove the bolts retaining the console to the seat cushion frame.
4. Remove the seat cushion frame.

1. Install the seat cushion frame.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

2. Install the bolts retaining the console to the seat cushion frame in the locations noted during disassembly.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

3. Install the bolts retaining the hinges to the seat cushion frame in the locations noted during disassembly.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

4. Install the seat cushion trim cover and pad.

1. Remove the seat cushion trim cover and pad assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
2. Remove the seat cushion frame.
