Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 300241 Size: SH
  1. Remove the lower hinge cover retaining screw.
  2. Pry off the lower hinge cover.
  3. Use the following procedure in order to remove the latch lever escutcheon:
    4. 3.1. Unfasten the hook-and-loop fastener along the inner edge of the escutcheon.
    3.2. Lift the inner edge of the escutcheon.
    3.3. Pivot the escutcheon in order to clear the latch lever and the retaining tabs at the hinge upper cover.
  4. Pry off the upper hinge.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 300241 Size: SH
  1. Install the upper hinge cover:
    2. 1.1. Align the hinge cover fasteners with the hinge.
    1.2. Press the hinge cover into place.
  2. Install the latch lever escutcheon:
    3. 2.1. Pivot the escutcheon so that the escutcheon retaining tabs engage the slots on the upper hinge cover and clear the latch lever.
    2.2. Attach the hook-and-loop fasteners at the escutcheon's inner edge to the carpet on the back of the seat back trim cover.
  3. Install the lower hinge cover:
    4. 3.1. Align the hinge cover fasteners with the hinge.
    3.2. Press the hinge cover into place.
  4. Install the lower hinge cover retaining screw.
