Backup Lamp Circuit Description Non VE1

The voltage applies through the TURN-B/U fuse to the following switches when the ignition switch is in the RUN position:

    • The park/neutral position
    • The backup lamp

The voltage applies to the left side backup lamps and the right side backup lamps when the transmission is in the REVERSE position. The left side and the right side backup lamps ground permanently through grounds

 G400 and G401 respectively. The backup lamps are on when the voltage is applied to CKT 24 (LT GRN).

Backup Lamp Circuit Description VE1

When the Ignition Switch is in RUN, voltage is applied through the TURN-B/U Fuse to the Park/Neutral position and Backup Lamp Switch. With the Transmission in REVERSE, voltage is applied to the Backup Lamp, which is permanently grounded through Grounds G105 and G107. When voltage is applied to LT GRN (24) wire, the Backup Lamps are on.
