Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the engine oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
  2. Remove the oil pump. Refer to Oil Pump Removal .
  3. Clean and inspect all parts. Refer to Oil Pump Cleaning and Inspection .

Installation Procedure

    Important: Use a NEW oil pump driveshaft retainer.

  1. Install the oil pump. Refer to Oil Pump Installation .
  2. Install the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
