The services shown in this schedule up to 166 000 km (100,000 mi) should be performed after 166 000 km (100,000 mi) at the same intervals.

The services shown in this schedule up to 240 000 km (150,000 mi) should be performed after 240 000 km (150,000 mi) at the same intervals.

Footnotes

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency or the California Air Resources Board has determined that the failure to perform this maintenance item will not nullify the emission warranty or limit recall liability prior to the completion of the vehicle's useful life. GM, however, urges that all recommended maintenance services be performed at the indicated intervals and the maintenance be recorded.

Lubricate the front suspension, the ball joints, the steering linkage, the park brake cable guides, and the brake pedal springs.

Inspect the brakes is during tire rotation. Refer to footnote (3) in Maintenance Footnotes .

12 500 km (7,500 mi)

    • Change the engine oil and the filter (or every 12 months, whichever occurs first).
        This is an Emission Control Service.
    • Lubricate the chassis components (or every 12 months, whichever occurs first).
    • Check the front/rear axle fluid level. Add fluid as needed.
    • Check the constant velocity joints and the axle seals for leaks.
    • Rotate the tires. Refer to Tire Rotation in Tires and Wheels.

25 000 km (15,000 mi)

    • Change the engine oil and the filter (or every 12 months, whichever occurs first).
        This is an Emission Control Service.
    • Lubricate the chassis components (or every 12 months, whichever occurs first).
    • Check the front/rear axle fluid level. Add fluid as needed.
    • Check the constant velocity joints and the axle seals for leaks.
    • Change the automatic transmission fluid and filter if the vehicle is driven under one or more of the following (severe service conditions):
       - In heavy city traffic where the outside temperature regularly reaches 90°F (32°C) or higher.
       - In hilly or mountainous terrain
       - When doing frequent trailer towing
       - Uses such as found in taxi, police, or delivery service. If you do not use your vehicle under any of these conditions, the fluid and filter change should be changed every 83 000 km (50,000 mi).
    • Rotate the tires. Refer to Tire Rotation in Tires and Wheels.

37 500 km (22,500 mi)

    • Change the engine oil and the filter (or every 12 months, whichever occurs first).

    • For Two-Wheel-Drive vehicles only: Clean and repack the front wheel bearings (or at each brake relining, whichever occurs first).
    • Change the automatic transmission fluid and filter if the vehicle is driven under one or more of the following (severe service conditions):
       - In heavy city traffic where the outside temperature regularly reaches 90°F (32°C) or higher.
       - In hilly or mountainous terrain
       - When doing frequent trailer towing

    • Inspect the spark plug wires.
        This is an Emission Control Service.
    • Replace the spark plugs.
        This is an Emission Control Service.
    • If you have not used your vehicle under severe service conditions listed previously and, therefore, have not changed your automatic transmission fluid, change both the fluid and filter.
    • Change the transfer case fluid.
    • Inspect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve.
        This is an Emission Control Service.

240 000 km (150,000 mi)

    • Drain, flush and refill the cooling system (or every 60 months since the last service, whichever comes first).
    • Inspect the hoses.
    • Clean the following components. This is an Emission Control Service.
       - The radiator
       - The condenser
       - The pressure cap
       - The neck
    • Pressure test the cooling system and the pressure cap.
