Check the #7 Auxiliary Power fuse at the I/P fuse block

Is the fuse functional?

Locate source of overload and replace #7 Auxiliary Power fuse.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ACC or the RUN position.
  2. Disconnect the sub-woofer amplifier connector.
  3. Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 from CKT 840 (ORN) cavity A12 at the sub-woofer amplifier connector to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 from CKT 840 (ORN) to CKT 1350 (BLK) wire at the sub-woofer amplifier.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 6

  1. Remove the sub-woofer amplifier Radio Speaker Amplifier Replacement .
  2. Send the sub-woofer amplifier in for repair.

Is the repair complete?

Locate and repair the open in CKT 840 (ORN) between the sub-woofer amplifier and the IP fuse block.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Radio/Audio System Check

Locate and repair the open in CKT 1350 (BLK) between the sub-woofer amplifier and G 400.

Is the repair complete?
