Did you perform the Power Door Locks System Check?

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

1. Disconnect the side door lock motor.
2. Close the side door.
3. Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 from CKT 294 (TAN) cavity A to CKT 295 (GRY) cavity B at the side door lock motor.
4. Press the door lock switch.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

1. Connect a test lampJ 35616-200 form CKT 294 (TAN) cavity A at the side door lock motor to ground.
2. Press the door lock switch to the UNLOCK position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Replace the side door lock motor. Refer to Sliding Door Lock Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

--

Repair the open in CKT 295 (GRY) between splice S316 and the side door lock motor.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

--

Repair the open in CKT 294 (TAN) between splice S230 and the side door lock motor.

Is the repair complete?
