The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
A customer may comment that the Interior lights are inoperative after BCM replacement and technicians may or may not find a DTC B2618 stored in the BCM.
Recommendation/Instructions:
If the interior lights are inoperative after programming or replacing the BCM check the list of calibrations inside the BCM and verify that the interior light calibration is present. If no calibration is present, please contact Techline at 800-828-6860
for a VCI number. To receive the correct calibration; have the correct part number of the new BCM available prior to contacting Techline.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
