This bulletin is being issued to update the Armrest Replacement Procedure (YC6) in the Seats subsection of the 2000 M/L Service Manual.

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 555366 Size: SH

    Important: The following procedure represents a mid-year change. Before beginning this procedure, verify which armrest is involved.

  1. Rotate the armrest to the down position.

    2. Object Number: 555381 Size: SH
  2. Place a pair of snap-ring pliers between the seat and the armrest. Make sure that the snap-ring pliers go between the arms of the snap plate.
  3. With the armrest plate arms open, pull the armrest straight back off the seat post.

Installation Procedure


Object Number: 555361 Size: SH

With the armrest rotated at approximately 45 degrees, press the armrest onto the seat post until the snap plate arms fully engage into the groove of the seat post.
