Rear Door Replacement Cargo Doors

1. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement .
2. Remove the water deflector from the door. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
3. On the right door, remove the wiring harness from the license plate lamp and the power lock actuator, if equipped.
4. Remove the harness and the conduit from the right door.
5. Remove the stereo speakers, if equipped. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
6. Remove the check link. Refer to Rear Door Check Link Replacement .



7. Drive the hinge pins (3) from the hinges (2) while an assistant holds the door in place.
8. With an assistant, remove the door from the vehicle.

1. With an assistant, install the door to the vehicle.



2. Drive the hinge pins (3) through both halves in order to install the hinge pins.
3. Install the check link. Refer to Rear Door Check Link Replacement .
4. Install the speakers, if equipped. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
5. Install the harness and the conduit to the right door.
6. Install the wiring harness to he license plate lamp and the power lock actuator, if equipped.
7. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
8. Install the trim panel. Refer to Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement .

Tools Required

J 41226 Rear Cargo Door Hinge Pin Kit

1. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement .
2. Remove the speakers, if equipped. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
3. On the right door, remove the wiring harness from the license plate lamp and the power lock actuator.
4. Remove the water deflector away from the door. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement .
5. Remove the harness and the conduit from the door.
6. Remove the check link. Refer to Rear Door Check Link Replacement .



7. With an assistant, use the J 41226 in order to remove the hinge pins (3).
8. With an assistant, remove the door from the vehicle.

1. Install the door to the vehicle, with the aid of an assistant.



2. Use the J 41226 in order to install the hinge pins (3).
3. Install the check link. Refer to Rear Door Check Link Replacement .
4. Install the harness and the conduit to the door.
5. On the right door, install the wiring harness to the license plate lamp and the power lock actuator.
6. Install the water deflector to the door. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement .
7. Install the speakers, if equipped. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
8. Install the trim panel. Refer to Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement .
