Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 4.3L.

    2. Object Number: 48314 Size: SH
  2. Remove the upper fan shroud bolts.
  3. Remove the upper fan shroud.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 48314 Size: SH
  1. Install the upper fan shroud.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the upper shroud bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

  3. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 4.3L.
