Removal Procedure
  1. Partially drain the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

    2. Object Number: 71659 Size: SH
  2. Remove the coolant hose from the radiator.
  3. Remove the coolant hose from the thermostat housing or the coolant pump.
  4. Remove the coolant hose from the vehicle.

    5. Object Number: 160876 Size: SH
  5. On the 6.5L diesel remove the surge tank outlet hose from the lower coolant hose.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 160876 Size: SH
  1. On the 6.5L diesel, install the surge tank outlet hose to the lower coolant hose.

    2. Object Number: 71659 Size: SH
  2. Install the coolant hose to the coolant pump or the thermostat housing.
  3. Install the coolant hose to the radiator.
  4. Re-fill the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
