Ignition Coil

The ignition coil controls the current flow in the primary winding when signaled by the VCM. The interconnections are made by the primary engine harness. The ignition coil connects to the distributor through a secondary wire and can generate up to 35,000 volts. For more detailed information, refer to Enhanced Ignition System (General Description) .
