Removal Procedure

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the left rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Body Side Rear Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the auxiliary heater case from the vehicle. Refer to Heater Case Replacement .

  4. Object Number: 301710  Size: SH
  5. Remove the retainers from the bottom of the auxiliary heater case.

  6. Object Number: 301711  Size: SH
  7. Remove the heater core from the case.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 301711  Size: SH
  1. Install the heater core into the case.
  2. Install the retainers into the bottom of the auxiliary heater case.
  3. Install the auxiliary heater case into the vehicle. Refer to Heater Case Replacement .
  4. Install the left rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Body Side Rear Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to
