1. Remove the bulb from the license lamp connector.
2. Connect a J 39200 DMM between the license lamp connector, cavity B for CKT 250 (BLK), and ground.

Is continuity present?

Go to Step 3

Repair the open in CKT 250 (BLK) between the license lamp connector and ground G401.

Is the license lamp operative?

Go to Interior Lights Dimming System Check

Go to Step 4

1. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the license lamp connector, cavity A for CKT 9 (BRN), and ground.
2. Place the headlamp switch in the park lamps position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Replace the license lamp bulb.

Is the license lamp operative?

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in CKT 9 (BRN) between splice S402 and the license lamp connector.

Is the rear taillamp or the lamps operative?
