Was the Exterior Lights System Check performed?

  1. Remove the bulb from the right rear taillamp or the rear park and turn signal lamp connector.
  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM between the right rear taillamp or the rear park and turn signal lamp connector, cavity G for CKT 250 (BLK), and ground.

Is continuity present?

Repair the open in CKT 250 (BLK) between the right rear taillamp or the rear park and turn signal lamp connector and ground G401.

Is the right rear taillamp or the rear park and turn signal lamp operative?

--

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

Go to Step 4

  1. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the right rear taillamp or the rear park and turn signal lamp connector, cavity B for CKT 9 (BRN), and ground.
  2. Place the headlamp switch in the park lamps position.

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the right rear taillamp or the rear park and turn signal lamp bulb.

Is the right rear taillamp or the rear park and turn signal lamp operative?

Repair the open in CKT 9 (BRN) between splice S900 and the right rear taillamp or the rear park and turn signal lamp connector.
