Removal Procedure
- Use 3M Release
Agent or the equivalent,
if needed, in order to remove the right rear door weatherstrip
from the top of the door.
- Pull the right rear door weatherstrip in order to remove the weatherstrip
from the channel on the side of the door.
- Remove the right rear door weatherstrip and the retainers from
the bottom of the door.
- Clean the door of all of the old adhesive.
Installation Procedure
- Use the following procedure
in order to install the right rear door weatherstrip to the channel on the
side of the door:
| 1.1. | Apply a mild soap and water solution to the right rear door weatherstrip. |
| 1.2. | Start at the bottom of the channel in the door and slide the right
rear door weatherstrip up the channel to the top of the door. |
- Install the right rear door weatherstrip to the top of the door.
Use GM Weatherstrip Adhesive GM P/N 12345097, or the equivalent,
if you are reusing the weatherstrip.
- Press the retainers in the right rear door weatherstrip into the
holes in the door.
