Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 160859  Size: SH
  1. Remove the auxiliary oil cooler lines from the oil cooler. Refer to Engine Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement in Engine Cooling.
  2. Remove the lower radiator air baffle retaining bolts.
  3. Remove the lower radiator air baffle from the vehicle.
  4. Remove the auxiliary oil cooler from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the auxiliary oil cooler to the vehicle.
  2. Install the lower radiator air baffle to the vehicle.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the radiator air baffle retaining bolts to the vehicle.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the radiator air baffle bolts to 11N·m (97 lb in).

  6. Install the auxiliary oil cooler lines to the oil cooler. Refer to Engine Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement in Engine Cooling.
