1. Start the Vehicle.
2. Connect a voltmeter across the battery terminals.

Is the reading on the voltmeter at the specified value?

12 - 16 volts

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster And Gages, in Electrical Diagnosis.

Is the repair complete?

Perform Generator Replacement. Refer to Generator Replacement .
