- Ensure that the battery is charged.
- Disconnect the BRN (25) wire connector at the generator. If equipped
with dual generators disconnect both generators.
- Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
- Connect a fused jumper wire between the generator connector cavity
B (W/ 100 Amp Generator/ dual generators) or cavity L (W/ 124
Amp Generator) and ground.
Is the Charge indicator lamp lit?

- Check that the generator(s) mechanical grounding is good.
- If the generator(s) is mechanically grounded, replace the generator(s).

- Disconnect the connector the instrument cluster.
- Connect a J 39200
between the instrument cluster connector cavity B16 and the generator
connector cavity B (W/ 100 Amp generator/ dual generators) or cavity
L (W/ 124 Amp generator).
