Disconnect the P/B booster fluid flow and pressure alarm delay module connector.

Does the alarm stop?

  1. Disconnect the connector at the P/B booster fluid pressure alarm switch.
  2. Connect an unpowered test lamp between P/B booster fluid flow and pressure alarm delay module connector cavity C for the PNK (849) wire and B+.

Does the test lamp light?

Repair the short to ground in the PNK (849) wire between the P/B booster fluid flow and pressure alarm delay module connector cavity C and the P/B booster fluid pressure alarm switch connector cavity A.

Does the alarm stop?

Connect an unpowered test lamp between the P/B booster fluid pressure alarm switch connector cavity B for the DK GRN (860) wire and B+.

Does the test lamp light?

Disconnect the connector from the P/B booster fluid flow alarm switch.

Does the test lamp connected in Step 4 still light?

Repair short to ground in the DK GRN (860) wire between the P/B booster fluid pressure alarm switch connector cavity B and the P/B booster fluid flow alarm switch connector cavity A.

Does the alarm stop?

Replace the P/B booster fluid pressure alarm switch.

Does the alarm stop?

  1. Disconnect the Daytime Running Lamp Module connnector.
  2. Disconnect the connector at the P/B booster fluid flow alarm.
  3. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the P/B booster fluid flow alarm connector cavity A for the BLK/YEL (1471) wire and B+.

Does the test lamp light?

Repair short to ground in the BLK/YEL (1471) wire or the TAN/WHT (33) wire between the P/B booster fluid flow alarm connector cavity A and the Daytime Running Lamp module connector cavity A.

Does the alarm stop?

Replace P/B booster fluid flow and pressure alarm delay module.

Does the alarm stop?

Diagnose the DRL system. Refer to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) System Check in Lighting Systems.
