- Put the transmission selector lever in the park position.
- Set the parking brake and block the wheels.
- Start the vehicle.
- Turn the steering wheel ¼ turn back and fourth.
- Inspect the pivot joints for looseness.
- Replace any damaged or worn pivot joints.
