Was the Headlight System Check performed?

  1. Disconnect the connector at the left low beam composite headlamp.
  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM between the left low beam composite headlamp connector, cavity B for CKT 150 (BLK), and ground.

Is continuity present?

--

Go to Step 4

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the left low beam composite headlamp and ground G108.

Is the left low beam headlamp operative?

--

Go to Headlight System Check

  1. Place the headlamp switch in the headlamp position.
  2. Select low beam on the headlamp dimmer switch.
  3. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the left low beam composite headlamp connector, cavity A for CKT 12 (TAN), and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Is the filament of the left low beam headlamp open?

Replace the left low beam headlamp.

Is the left low beam headlamp operative?

Repair the open in CKT 12 (TAN) between splice S143 and the left low beam composite headlamp.
