Was the Headlamp Leveling System Check performed?

Go to Headlight Leveling System Check

1. Disconnect the inoperative headlamp leveling actuator connector at the back of the motor.
2. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
3. Connect an unpowered test lamp between cavity 3 of the headlamp leveling actuator connector CKT 39 (PNK) and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

Locate and repair the open in CKT 39 (PNK) between the headlamp leveling actuator and splice S149.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Headlight Leveling System Check

--

Connect an unpowered test lamp between cavity 1 of the headlamp leveling acutator connector of CKT 350 (BLK) and cavity 3 of CKT 39 (PNK).

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Locate and repair the open in CKT 350 (BLK) between cavity 1 of the headlamp leveling actuator connector and splice S150.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Headlight Leveling System Check

--

1. Place the headlamp leveling switch in the 0 position.
2. Connect a voltmeter between the following components:

•	The cavity 2 of the headlamp leveling actuator connector

•

Ground

Does the voltmeter read less than the specified value?

4.5 Volts

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 7

Replace the headlamp leveling actuator.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Headlight Leveling System Check

Locate and repair the open in CKT 189 (DK GRN) between cavity 2 of the headlamp leveling actuator connector and splice S151.

Is the repair complete?
