  1. Ensure that the 17A circuit breaker in the headlamp switch is not open.
  2. Disconnect C200 at the steering column.
  3. Connect a J 39200 DMM between connector C200 cavity E13 for the LT BLU (10) pigtail wire and cavity E12 for the TAN (12) pigtail wire.

Is continuity present?

  1. Disconnect the connector at the headlamp switch.
  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM between connector C200 Pin E13 and headlamp switch connector cavity G for the YEL (10) wire.

Is continuity present?

--

Test for an open in the LT BLU (10) pigtail wire in the steering column.

Is the wire open?

Go to Step 7

Connect an unpowered test lamp between headlamp switch connector cavity C for the RED (42) wire and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Repair the open in the YEL (10) wire between the headlamp switch and connector C200.

Repair the open in the LT BLU (10) pigtail wire in the steering column.
