Was the Exterior Lights System Check performed?

  1. Disconnect connector C200 at the steering column.
  2. Disconnect at the connector at the instrument cluster.
  3. Connect a J 39200 DMM between connector C200, cavity A7, and the instrument cluster connector, pin A10, for CKT 14 (LT BLU).

Is continuity present?

  1. Inspect the left turn indicator bulb.
  2. Replace the left turn indicator bulb, as necessary.

Is the left turn signal indicator operative?

Replace the instrument cluster.

Is the left turn signal indicator operative?

Go to Step 5

Repair the open in CKT 14 (LT BLU) between splice S236 and the instrument cluster.

Is the left turn signal indicator operative?

  2. Disconnect the connector at the instrument cluster.
  3. Connect a J 39200 DMM between the following components:
  4. • Connector C200 pin A7
    • Instrument cluster connector cavity A10 for CKT 14 (LT BLU)

Is continuity present?

Replace the instrument cluster if the left turn indicator bulb is operative.

Is the repair complete?

Locate and repair the open in CKT 14 (LT BLU) between the following components:

    • Splice S236
    • The instrument cluster
