1. Remove the bulb from the rear dome lamp connector.
2. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the rear dome lamp connector, cavity A for CKT 40 (ORN), and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

Repair the open in CKT 40 (ORN) between the rear dome lamp connector and splice S406.

Is the rear dome lamp operative?

Go to Interior Lamps System Check

Go to Step 4

1. Connect a J 39200 DMM between the rear dome lamp connector, cavity B for CKT 156 (WHT), and ground.
2. Place the instrument panel dimmer switch in the dome switch position.

Is continuity present?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Replace the rear dome lamp bulb.

Is the rear dome lamp operative?

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in CKT 156 (WHT) between splice S306 and the rear dome lamp connector.
