Was the Interior Lamps System Check performed?

Go to Interior Lamps System Check

1. Ensure that the dome lamps OFF switch is in the retracted, or the lamps on position.
2. Disconnect the connector at the side door jamb switch.
3. Ensure that the ignition switch is in the OFF position or the LOCK position.
4. Connect a unpowered test lamp between the side door jamb switch connector, cavity A for CKT 328 (PPL), and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Repair the open in CKT 328 (PPL) between splice S316 and the side door jamb switch.

Do the dome lamps light when the side door is open?

Go to Interior Lamps System Check

Go to Step 4

Connect a J 39200 DMM between the side door jamb switch connector, cavity B for CKT 150 (BLK), and ground.

Is continuity present?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Replace the side door jamb switch.

Do the dome lamps light when the side door is open?

Go to Interior Lamps System Check

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the side door jamb switch and ground G402.
