Was the Interior Lamps System Check performed?

Go to Interior Lamps System Check

1. Ensure that the dome lamps OFF switch is in the retracted, or the lamps on position.
2. Disconnect the connector at the rear door jamb switch.
3. Ensure that the ignition switch is in the OFF position or the LOCK position.
4. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the rear door jamb switch connector, cavity A for CKT 328 (PPL), and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Repair the open in CKT 328 (PPL) between splice S316 and the rear door jamb switch.

Do the dome lamps light when the rear door is open?

Go to Interior Lamps System Check

Go to Step 4

Connect a J 39200 DMM between the rear door jamb switch connector, cavity D for CKT 250 (BLK), and ground.

Is continuity present?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Replace the rear door jamb switch.

Do the dome lamps light when the rear door is open?

Go to Interior Lamps System Check

--

Repair the open in CKT 250 (BLK) between the rear door jamb switch and ground G401.
