Was the Audible Warnings System Check performed?

1. Disconnect the connector C1 at the multi-function alarm module.
2. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the multi-function alarm module connector C1 cavity A1 for CKT 8 (GRY) and ground.
3. Place the headlamp switch in the OFF position.

Did the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Repair the short to voltage on either CKT 8 (GRY) between the IP dimmer switch and the multi-function alarm module or on CKT 44 (DRK GRN) between the IP dimmer switch and ILLUM fuse 14.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Audible Warnings System Check

Replace the multi-function alarm module.
