Removal Procedure
- Remove the front bumper from the vehicle. Refer to Front Bumper Impact Bar Bracket Replacement .
- Using pliers, gently squeeze the tangs on the molding.
- Remove the front bumper step pad (1) from the bumper.
Push the tangs through the slots in the bumper.
Installation Procedure
- Align the tangs on the front bumper step pad (1) with the slots in the bumper.
- Using a rubber mallet, set the tangs in place starting at the center of the front bumper step pad and work toward each end of the pad.
- Install the front bumper to the vehicle. Refer to Front Bumper Impact Bar Bracket Replacement .
