Front License Plate Bracket Replacement Domestic

1. Remove the bolts that retain the front license plate bracket to the bumper.
2. Remove the front license plate bracket from the bumper.

1. Install the front license plate bracket to the bumper.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

2. Install the front license plate bracket retaining bolts to the bumper.

Tighten
Tighten the front license plate bracket retaining bolts to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

Front License Plate Bracket Replacement Export

1. Remove the screws retaining the license plate filler to the license plate bracket.
2. Remove the license plate filler from the license plate bracket.

1. Install the license plate filler to the license plate bracket.

2. Install the screws to retain the license plate filler to the license plate bracket.

Tighten
Tighten the license plate bracket screws to 2.2N·m (19.5 lb in).
