Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the armrest. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 333678  Size: SH
  4. Open the access flaps at the lower rear corners of the seatback in order to access the seatback to the frame retaining bolts.
  5. Remove the bolts from the seatback frame.
  6. Remove the seatback frame from the seatback cushion frame.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 333678  Size: SH
  1. Install the seatback frame to the seat cushion frame.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bolts in order to retain the seatback frame to the seat cushion frame.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts in order to retain the seatback frame to the seat cushion frame to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

  5. Secure the access flaps at the lower rear corners of the seatback.
  6. Install the armrest to the seatback. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement .
  7. Install the seat to the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement .
