The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.

Water may enter the vehicle where the A-pillar meets the drip rail on the right and/or left side of the roof area.

During assembly, sealant may have been left off where the A-pillar meets the roof drip rail. Prior to any resealing of the windshield, this area should be inspected. The gap in sealant will only be noticeable by pulling back the door weather strip seal at this location. The size of the gap may vary in length or width and may be very difficult to see on darker colors. As water enters the vehicle, it may appear on the IP cover pad or on the floor. The water may also, travel towards the back of the vehicle, to the B and C pillar areas. Reseal the affected area with 3M #08360 or #08361 or an equivalent sealer.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
