Theft Deterrent Module Replacement UA6

1. Push the tab (3) at the rear of the Passlock™ control module in order to release the module from the Passlock™ control module bracket (4).
2. Slide the Passlock™ control module (2) out of the Passlock™ control module bracket (4).
3. Disconnect the electrical connector (5) from the Passlock™ control module (2).
4. Remove the Passlock™ control module (2) from the I/P.

1. Install the Passlock™ control module (2) to the I/P.
2. Connect the electrical connector (5) to the Passlock™ control module (2).
3. Slide the Passlock™ control module (2) in to the Passlock™ control module bracket (4).
4. Push down on the Passlock™ control module (2) in order to engage the retaining tab (3) on the Passlock™ control module to the Passlock™ module bracket (4).
5. Perform the Passlock™ learn procedure. Refer to PASSLOCK Reprogramming Auto Learn .

Theft Deterrent Module Replacement UA2

1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.



2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the vehicle immobilizer module.
3. Remove the plastic fastener retaining the vehicle immobilizer module to the sound insulation.
4. Remove the vehicle immobilizer module from the vehicle.

1. Install the vehicle immobilizer module to the vehicle.
2. Install the plastic fastener in order to retain the vehicle immobilizer module to the sound insulation.
3. Connect the electrical connector to the vehicle immobilizer module.
4. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.
5. Reprogram the key fob. Refer to Transmitter Programming .
6. Inspect the system in order to ensure it is operating correctly.
