Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 43320 Size: SH
  1. Raise the vehicle.
  2. Remove the oil pan and the filter. Refer to Automatic Transmission Fluid and Filter Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the wiring harness if necessary.
  4. Remove the snap ring.
  5. Remove the plug.
  6. Remove the valve.
  7. Remove the spring.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 43320 Size: SH
  1. Install the spring.
  2. Install the valve.
  3. Install the plug.
  4. Install the snap ring.
  5. Connect the wiring harness if necessary.
  6. Install the filter, the oil pan and the fluid. Refer to Automatic Transmission Fluid and Filter Replacement .
  7. Lower the vehicle.

    8. Important: It is recommended that transmission adaptive pressure (TAP) information be reset.

    Resetting the TAP values using a scan tool will erase all learned values in all cells. As a result, The ECM, PCM or TCM will need to relearn TAP values. Transmission performance may be affected as new TAP values are learned.

  8. Reset the TAP values. Refer to Adapt Function .
