  1. Disconnect the windshield wiper/washer switch pigtail connector.
  2. Turn the ignition on.

Are the windshield washers always on?

  1. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor connector.
  2. Turn the ignition on.

Test and repair the windshield washer switch signal circuit for a short to voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair the windshield washer pump motor supply circuit for a short to voltage. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the windshield wiper/washer switch.

Replace the windshield wiper motor cover. Refer to Wiper Motor Cover Replacement .
