  1. Place the key in the ignition switch.
  2. Open the left front door.
  3. Listen for the key-in-ignition chime.

Does the key-in-ignition chime sound?

  1. Disconnect multi-function alarm module connector C1.
  2. Place the key in the ignition switch.
  3. Open the left front door.
  4. Connect a J 39200 DMM between multi-function alarm module connector C1 cavity C1 for CKT 80 (LT GRN) and the left front door jamb switch connector cavity C for CKT 159 (TAN). Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Is continuity present?

Connect a J 39200 DMM between the left front door jamb switch connector cavity D for CKT 150 (BLK) and ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Connect a J 39200 DMM between connector C210 cavity B3 for CKT 159 (TAN) and connector C200 cavity B4. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.
