  1. Turn the park lamps ON.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
  3. Listen for the lights-on chime.

Is the lights-on chime present with the ignition switch in RUN?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections

  1. Disconnect multi-function alarm module connector C1.
  2. Connect a J 35616-200 unpowered test lamp between multi-function alarm module connector C1 cavity D2 for CKT 39 (PNK) and ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.
  3. Place the ignition switch in RUN.

Does the test lamp light?

Repair the open in CKT 39 (PNK) between splice S216 and the multi-function alarm module. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?
