Radio Speaker Amplifier Replacement - Rear Quarter Luxury Y91

1. Remove the right body side-trim panel. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side in Interior Trim.
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the amplifiers.
3. Remove the screws from the 100-watt amplifier (2).
4. Remove the screws that retain the 2000-watt amplifiers (1) to the mounting bracket (4).
5. Remove the amplifiers from the mounting bracket.

1. Install the amplifiers to the mounting bracket .

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

2. Install the screws to the 100-watt amplifier (2).

Tighten
Tighten the amplifier screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

3. Install the screws that retain the 2000-watt amplifiers (1) to the mounting bracket (4).

Tighten
Tighten the amplifier screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

4. Connect the electrical connectors to the amplifier.
5. Install the right body side-trim panel. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side in Interior Trim.
