Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement All Except Luxury

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the armrest from the seatback. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 333684 Size: SH
  2. Release the bottom edge of the seatback cover (3).
  3. Release the hook and loop strips that retain the seatback cover to the seatback foam pad (2).
  4. In order to ease removal, place a piece of cardboard between the seatback cover and the foam pad.
  5. Working from side to side, carefully lift the seatback cover from the foam pad.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 333684 Size: SH
  1. Working from side to side, carefully install the seatback cover (3) over the foam pad (2).
  2. Remove the cardboard from between the seatback cover and the foam pad.
  3. Engage the hook and loop strips that retain the seatback cover to the seatback foam pad.
  4. Secure the bottom edge of the seatback cover.
  5. Install the armrest to the seatback. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement .

Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement Luxury Y91

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear bench seat to the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear seat headrest. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear seat armrests. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement .
  4. Remove the J-hook along the bottom edge of the seat back.
  5. Separate the J-hook fasteners that retain the seat back cover to the pad along the seat back break line.

    6. Object Number: 300234 Size: SH
  6. Remove the seat back cover and pad from the seat back.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 300232 Size: SH

    Important: For the best finished appearance, proceed as follows when attaching the seat back cover to the pad:

  1. Install the seat back cover and pad to the seat back.
    2. 1.1. Center the seat back cover on the pad.
    1.2. Starting at the top and working down the sides, apply pressure along the break line in order to help attach the seat back cover to the J-hook to the frame and attach the hook and loop.
  2. Install the seat back to the frame and attach.
  3. Install the armrests. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement .
  4. Install the headrests. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement .
  5. Install the rear bench seat to the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement .
