Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the passenger side rear corner trim panel. Refer to Body Rear Corner Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side in Interior Trim.

  2. Object Number: 313463  Size: SH
  3. Remove the nut (5) that retains the jack and tool container.
  4. Remove the retainer (4) from the jack (2).
  5. Remove the tool container (3) from the bracket (1).
  6. Remove the jack (2) from the bracket (1).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 313463  Size: SH
  1. Install the jack (2) into the bracket (1).
  2. Connect the tool container (3) to the bracket (1).
  3. Install the retainer (4) to the jack (2).
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the nut (5) that retains the jack and tool container.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the jack and tool container retainer nut to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  7. Install the passenger side rear corner trim panel, if equipped. Refer to Body Rear Corner Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side in Interior Trim.
