Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the jack and tool stowage container. Refer to Jack and Tool Stowage Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 313474  Size: SH
  3. Remove the nuts (3) that retain the tray to the vehicle floor.
  4. Remove the bolts (1) that attach to the jack stowage bracket to the vehicle.
  5. Remove the bracket (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the bracket (2) into the vehicle.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bolt (1) that attaches to the bracket.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  5. Install the nuts (3) that retain the tray to the vehicle floor.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts that retain the jack and tool container stowage tray to the vehicle to 28 N·m (21 lb ft).

  7. Install the jack and tool stowage container. Refer to Jack and Tool Stowage Replacement .
