Removal Procedure
- Remove the front door garnish molding. Refer to
Front Side Door Front Garnish Molding Replacement
.
- Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to
Door Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Remove the electrical connector from the rearview mirror.
- Remove the nuts that retain the power rearview mirror to the door.
- Remove the power rearview mirror and the harness from the door.
Installation Procedure
- Install the power rearview mirror and the harness to the door.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the nuts
in order to retain the power rearview mirror to the door.
Tighten
Tighten the retaining nuts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Install the electrical connector to the power rearview mirror.
- Install the front door trim panel. Refer to
Door Trim Panel Replacement

- Install the front door front garnish molding. Refer to
Front Side Door Front Garnish Molding Replacement
.
