Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1244319 Size: SH
  1. Remove the left side rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side .
  2. Remove the rear door extension. Refer to Rear Door Outer Extension Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the left side rear door latches. Refer to Rear Door Latch Replacement - Lower and Rear Door Latch Replacement - Upper .
  4. Remove the left side rear door latch handle. Refer to Rear Door Latch Replacement - Lower .
  5. Remove the left side rear door wiring harness from the door. Refer to Door Wiring Harness Replacement .
  6. Remove the left side rear door hinged rear window or stationary window, if needed. Refer to Hinged Rear Window Replacement or Rear Window Replacement in Stationary Windows.
  7. Remove the left side rear door weatherstrips, if needed. Refer to Front and Rear Side Door Lower Weatherstrip Replacement in Doors.
  8. Remove the left side rear door rear door speaker, if equipped. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
  9. Remove the bolts that retain the left side rear door upper and the lower door hinges to the body.
  10. Remove the left side rear door from the vehicle with an assistant.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1244319 Size: SH
  1. Install the left side rear door to the vehicle with an assistance.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the bolts in order to retain the left side rear door upper and the lower door hinges to the body.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the retaining bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the left side rear door rear door speaker, if equipped. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
  4. Install the left side rear door weatherstrips, if needed. Refer to Front and Rear Side Door Lower Weatherstrip Replacement in Doors.
  5. Install the left side rear door hinged rear window or stationary window, if needed. Refer to Hinged Rear Window Replacement or Rear Window Replacement in Stationary Windows.
  6. Install the left side rear door wiring harness to the door. Refer to Door Wiring Harness Replacement .
  7. Install the left side rear door latch handle. Refer to Rear Door Latch Replacement - Lower .
  8. Install the left side rear door latches. Refer to Rear Door Latch Replacement - Lower and Rear Door Latch Replacement - Upper .
  9. Install the rear door extension. Refer to Rear Door Outer Extension Panel Replacement .
  10. Install the left side rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side .
