Your vehicle has a Change Engine Oil Light on the instrument panel. If this light is flashing, the engine oil level is low.

This light does not come on when the engine oil needs to be changed. The references in the owner's manual to "When to Change Engine Oil (GM Oil Life System)" and "How to Reset the Change Engine Oil Light" do not apply.
