The emergency lamp is operated by the switch labeled AUX LIGHT, which is located on the lower right bezel of the instrument panel. This switch will operate at all times with the ignition either on or off.
Operating the emergency lamp for long periods of time without the engine running will discharge the battery.
A relay is mounted on the front of dash. This relay controls the emergency lamp.
Power is supplied at stud "2" on the underhood electrical center. A 30 amp fuse located inside the underhood electrical center provides protection for the emergency lamp wiring. Always replace it with a 30 amp fuse. The maximum rated load for the emergency lamp power supply is 21 amps or 250 watts.
