Condition
Some customers may comment about a thumping noise/feel in the brake pedal after the vehicle comes to a complete stop. This is most likely to occur after a hard, non-ABS, dry pavement stop.
Important: The above condition may also occur, to a much lesser extent, on all lighter GVW vans. This will NOT occur on Cut-away/Cab-Chassis/Cube/RV vans.
Correction
Replace the electronic brake control module. Refer to the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) Replacement procedure in the ABS/Traction Control sub-section of the Service Manual (SI Document ID #893022). Use the new part numbers listed below.
