The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.
Condition/Concern:
Clunk/pop/snap noise in the front suspension when going over bumps.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Use a set of chassis ears to help isolate the source of the noise. If the noise is found to be coming from the front coil springs, and the vehicle is built prior to 7/28/2004, install lower coil spring insulator part number 15036691. It will be necessary to use two sided tape on the coil spring to hold the insulator in place.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
